There are several things that need to be checked if your live tracking is not working correctly.
- Be sure that live tracking is enabled on your desktop client.
- If you don't have the desktop client, download it here.
- In the settings section of your client, be sure that Enable Live Tracking is checked.
- Be sure that you receive the following message when entering a dungeon: Combat being logged to Logs/WowCombatLog. If you do not see this message, that usually means that either live tracking is not enabled from step 1, or that something else is trying to control your combat log (step 3).
- Be sure that any other addon, (besides Raider.IO) that has the ability to control your combat log, is disabled, or at least its' ability to control the combat log is disabled. A couple of addons that are known to have a combat log setting: Loggerhead, Method Raid Tools (MRT), Deadly Boss Mods (DBM), BigWigs, Ask Mr. Robot
If none of these steps work, you will need to contact a moderator on Discord or submit a ticket. Please include your desktop client log file with your inquiry. The name of the file is main.log and is located in the following directory for windows users: C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\RaiderIO\logs. If you do not see AppData, you will need to enable the setting to show hidden items in file explorer.
For Mac users, the client log is located here: /Library/Logs/RaiderIO/
For Linux users, the client log is located here: /.config/RaiderIO/
